The Girlfriend Club is an international social and mentoring program for women aged 18 years and over sponsored by Women Can International. If you are a woman, you are eligible to participate in this exciting women’s network, which is a community building initiative of Women Can International. You probably already realise that a girlfriend is the most valuable gift you can give yourself, but just in case you don’t, let me remind you of just how valuable they really are in our lives. Our girlfriends fill so many of our needs without our realising. They are often one or more of these: Confidantes Counsellors Carers C0-creators Compassionate empathisers Co-workers Cheer leaders Conspirators Comediennes It makes sense that throughout our journey they provide an invaluable source of energy and strength. Therefore, it is important that we not only value these relationships, but also create time in our world to nurture them. With all the pressures of life, this can seem almost impossible to accomplish. The Girlfriend Club is a simple yet profound solution. It works on the premise that if you can bring all your girlfriends from the different worlds of your life around the table at the one time, you can effectively nurture these friendships. Not only that, but you can give the women you love the opportunity to meet each other and when that happens the magic happens, because chances are they will also love each other.
